BlackBerry Q10 was announced this year in January. Now we know the exact date of its release to UK’s mobile market – April 26. Unlocked Mobile and Clove Technology have already begun taking pre-orders starting at £530 on a SIM-only basis with delivery for the specified date. Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U websites listed it as “coming soon” but no specified date is given.
BlackBerry Q10 is the second to run BlackBerry 10 software. A dual-core Snapdragon processor of Q10 is clocked at 1.5GHz. BBQ10 is equipped with 3.1-inch touchscreen (which is smaller to give more room for a keyboard) as well as a full QWERTY keyboard – it’s the first time BlackBerry combined these two features. It also has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be boosted with 64GB through microSD slot. The mobile phone has the speed camera capable of taking photos almost instantly and big 2,100mAh battery. The fact that Q10 runs the newest BlackBerry 10 operating system makes the phone more innovative and interesting than other BlackBerry devices. For example, it enables accessing messages and conversations at any time and from any app. What’s more the keyboard adapts to one’s style of typing suggesting words which makes typing a lot faster. A BBM Video Chat gives opportunities to catch up face-to-face and show the view from the rear-facing camera. Although BlackBerry Q10 has already been announced, much information about it isn’t known as it hasn’t been released yet.
